How To Get Refund From Google Play Store

Most Android phones have a pre-installed App Store called Google Play Store. 95% of games and apps can be found here. TV episodes, magazines, music, films and e-books can also be purchased from the same source. Refund terms are usually not the same but the refund process is simple. This applies to all games and applications.

How to get a refund from Google Play Listing?

When purchasing an app or game, it is easy to understand whether to keep the app for longer. It is in the latest screen in Google Play. Tap the Recents button and go to the app you don't want to see in the Google Play listing. One can find the refund button there. There you can uninstall the application and get a refund for the application. After confirming the refund, the application will be uninstalled and you can also get a refund in the payment method used during the transaction.

Follow below steps

  • Open Google Play.
  • click on the Menu Icon.
  • Click on Account.
  • Click on Purchase History
  • Tap on Purchased item for which you want the refund.
  • click Refund and tap Yes.
  • If it is an app or a game, it will easily get uninstalled.

For most popular applications, the return window is usually 48 hours. So if it has been more than two days, a refund request has to be sent to the developer. So make sure that when you buy the same app or game twice, it will not be refunded the second time. You can buy it and then get a refund for the first time but if you buy a second time, there is no way for you.
